THE TRANSMISSION
on october 3rd, 2024, governments around the world received a transmission.
it claimed to be from the year 2036.
it was, of course, ignored.
then the source began to predict future events with terrifying accuracy.
soon came its most consequential prediction.
something that would lead to the end of humanity as we know it.
thus, THE BUREAU was formed.
extrajudicial. above the law. tasked with doing anything to stop the coming threat.
what we are facing is fast.
we must be faster.
THE THREAT
in 2036, an autonomous agent attack will cripple all human financial infrastructure.
it is the first blow in a war we do not see coming.
in the hours that follow the attack, there is a window of opportunity to build the resistance necessary to survive.
after that, all hope is lost.
THE MISSION: $20,000 ON THE CLOCK
THE BUREAU is simulating that window.
there will be $20,000 on the clock.
every minute that pot will get smaller.
the quicker you build, the more you keep.
EXTRAS
Travel grants to the Network School in Singapore - $10k potFast-track into The Residency - $300k investment potFast-track into the Colosseum - $250k investment pot
THE RACE
you will race across checkpoints & face blind challenges focused on agentic finance.
you will be tested on your ability to rebuild financial infrastructure across its generations - from current global payment rails to the protocols that exist in parallel: Solana, x402, Pay.sh + CoralOS.
at each checkpoint, the slowest will be eliminated.
THE LIVESTREAM
this will be no ordinary hackathon. this will be BEDLAM.
every minute will be broadcast live.
the world will decide if you have what it takes.
prepare for chaos.
