About: CodeFury is the flagship Annual National-Level Hackathon organised by the IEEE UVCE Computer Society, providing students from across the country with a platform to demonstrate their technical proficiency, enhance their problem-solving abilities and collaborate with fellow innovators. Conducted in a completely online format, the hackathon presents participants with carefully curated problem statements inspired by real-world challenges across diverse domains, encouraging the development of innovative, practical and impactful solutions. Participants are required to select one of the provided problem statements and develop a Website or Android Application within an intensive 24-hour development period, entirely through virtual collaboration. Scheduled from 21st to 23rd August, CodeFury 9.0 offers an engaging and competitive experience, with participants competing for attractive cash prizes, certificates and national recognition while showcasing their innovation and technical excellence. Since its inception, the society has successfully organised several flagship initiatives, including the Annual National-Level Hackathon CodeFury, the monthly coding competition NCode, and numerous workshops and technical events aimed at introducing students to emerging technologies, enhancing their programming skills and cultivating a culture of innovation and continuous learning.  Details: Team size: 1 to 4 Participants should complete the registration process individually. Team formation will be facilitated later.  First prize: Rs 20,000 Second prize: Rs 15,000 Third prize: Rs 10,000 15K worth of consolation and appreciation prizes! Rules and Regulations: CodeFury 9.0 is a fully online hackathon. All stages of the competition, including project submission, evaluation and presentations, will be conducted remotely.  You agree that the details provided in the registration form are true and complete to the best of your knowledge. Intercollegiate teams from all over India can participate. The CodeFury 9.0 organizing committee is in no way responsible for any incorrect information provided by the participants. The registration fees, once paid, cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Once the theme and problem statement is selected in the form, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.   Any violation of the eligibility criteria mentioned on the website will lead to immediate disqualification of the team. Participants are expected to make either an application or website for the chosen problem statement. The participants can use any IDE to design the web/iOS/Android application. Participants found downloading entire templates will be disqualified. But participants are permitted to use the internet (for small blocks of code to implement a certain functionality to aid them in building the webpage/app.) The last commit to the GitHub repository containing the source code of the application should be made by 5:59 PM, 22nd August 2026. Pushing the code to a GitHub repository at regular intervals is compulsory for both Web and App development as plagiarism will be judged based on that (It is advised to have meaningful commits). The final winner will be chosen based on their Final product. The final decision is based on the sole discretion of the panel of judges. The decision made by the panel of judges is final and will not be amended under any circumstances. The participants will have to heed the instructions given by the CodeFury 9.0 organizing committee and the CodeFury 9.0 volunteering committee. In case of any disputes, the decision of IEEE UVCE is final.
