FaithTech Toronto is bringing the global FaithTech network right here to the city for a three-day Glocal Hackathon, and we want you there! Kicking off Friday evening at Stone Church (Davenport Campus), teams will come together to choose their initiatives and get the creative energy flowing before diving into a full weekend of building. Saturday and Sunday are all about heads-down collaboration, and Sunday evening wraps up with live project presentations to a panel of judges. Food is included throughout the weekend, so come hungry and ready to build something meaningful. This hackathon is centered around two real, world-changing initiatives. The first, in partnership with the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, focuses on Reconciliation Through Relationships, an initiative working toward genuine healing and connection between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. The second, in partnership with SIL Global, tackles Bible translation, helping bring Scripture to the many languages around the world that still don't have it. Whether you are a developer, designer, strategist, or just someone with a heart for faith and tech, there is a place for you on a team this weekend. Come for Friday night, stay for the whole journey. Hackathon Schedule Friday, July 10 | 6:30 PM – 10:00 PMKick off the weekend by meeting fellow participants, hearing from our challenge sponsors, learning about the problems you'll be solving, and forming your team. Saturday, July 11 | 8:30 AM – 10:00 PMA full day of building, collaborating, and bringing ideas to life. Work alongside your team, receive mentorship, and start turning your solution into a functional product. Sunday, July 12 | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PMPut the finishing touches on your project and prepare your final presentation. Teams will showcase their solutions to our panel of judges as we wrap up an incredible weekend of innovation, faith, and technology.
