The Hackers and Healers Hackathon is where keyboards and stethoscopes collide. Engineers, data tinkerers, and clinicians will team up to push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI in healthcare. The goal is to break the systems open, remix data, and hack together prototypes that might just change the way care is delivered. Think of it as a creative lab where medical know-how meets technical mischief, and the output is part experiment, part breakthrough. This isn’t about polished demos! It’s about curiosity, collaboration, and bending tools in unexpected ways. Clinicians bring the messy realities of patient care, hackers bring the code and models, and together they’ll jam on solutions that reimagine the future of medicine. Expect sparks, late-night ideas, and a community that thrives on bold thinking and hands-on building. All are welcome to join, space permitting. Priority access for credentialed clinicians (MD/DO, NP, PA, CRNA, RN) and professional "hackers" (engineering/data/AI) working at health tech companies. Sponsors DxAngels An investment syndicate of Doximity alumni, physicians, and health tech leaders, co-founded by Ahmed Belal, Mujtaba Badat, and Peter Alperin, MD, to expand the capital and expertise the Doximity alumni community could bring to digital health startups. All 3 were all early employees at Doximity (NYSE:DOCS) where they helped build the largest medical network in the U.S. with over a million medical professionals and 80% of physicians as members. Their experience spans the inception of Doximity's first products to operating as a publicly traded company.
