The Easygo Mini Hackathon is a one-day, in-person event designed for developers who want to solve real technical challenges, collaborate with sharp minds, and showcase how they think, not just what they build.

What to Expect

• 2 curated technical challenges inspired by real KICK engineering problems
• 4 - 5 hours of focused hacking
• Teams of 3 - 5 engineers, with KICK Engineers as your mentors
• Live presentations and judging by Easygo and KICK Engineering Managers
• $100,000 total prize pool ($50,000 per winning team, split equally)
• Food, drinks, and post-event celebrations included

How Registration Works

To register your interest, you’ll need to select which challenge you’d like to work on.

This hackathon will be accepting individual registrations only. You do not need to form a team or register with teammates.

All registrations will be reviewed and successful applicants will be allocated to a team to ensure a balanced mix of skills, experience, and team composition, in line with the terms and conditions.

You will be notified by Mid-July 2026 if you’ve been selected to participate.

Team Mixer: We’ll be hosting a team mixer on Thursday 23 July at 5:30pm, for successful applicants to meet their teammates ahead of the hackathon.

Please note:

• Submitting this form does not guarantee a spot
• We have 50 total seats available
• This is an in-person event taking place on Saturday 1 August (Melbourne, Australia) and participants will be required to attend for the full day from 9:00am to 6:00pm
• To keep things fair, participants will be selected based on skills, experience, and team balance, rather than first come, first served
• Registrations close on 1 July 2026
