CodeBuild 1.0, organized by CoBuild, is a nationwide innovation-focused hackathon designed to bring together passionate developers, designers, founders, innovators, and problem-solvers from across India. Built around the vision "Where Ideas Find Builders," CodeBuild aims to create a collaborative ecosystem where participants can transform innovative ideas into impactful solutions while connecting with mentors, startup founders, industry experts, and fellow builders. Whether you're participating in your first hackathon or are an experienced developer looking for your next challenge, CodeBuild offers the perfect platform to learn, innovate, network, and grow. Through a structured multi-stage journey, participants will ideate, build, validate, and present their solutions while competing alongside some of the brightest minds from diverse backgrounds. CodeBuild is more than just a hackathon—it is a community-driven initiative focused on innovation, collaboration, entrepreneurship, and real-world impact. Hackathon Themes Participants are free to build projects in any innovative domain, including but not limited to: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) Healthcare & MedTech FinTech Sustainability & Climate Tech Women Safety & Social Impact Blockchain & Web3 IoT & Smart Systems Cybersecurity EdTech Open Innovation Eligibility Criteria Open to students, developers, designers, founders, and technology enthusiasts across India. Participation is allowed only in teams. Cross-college and cross-domain teams are encouraged. Both beginners and experienced participants are welcome. A participant may be part of only one team. Team Formation Team size: 2-4 members Solo participation is not allowed. Teams must finalize their members before the Round 1 submission deadline. Competition Structure Round 1: Idea Pitch (PPT Submission) Teams must submit a presentation covering: Problem Statement Proposed Solution Key Features & Workflow Technology Stack Innovation & Impact Market Potential (if applicable) Evaluation Criteria Innovation & Originality Feasibility Problem-Solving Approach Clarity of Presentation Potential Impact Shortlisted teams will advance to Round 2. Round 2: Project Evaluation Shortlisted teams must submit: Working Project / Prototype GitHub Repository Project Documentation or PPT Demo Video or Deployment Link Evaluation Criteria Technical Implementation Creativity & Innovation User Experience Scalability Practical Impact Product Quality Top-performing teams will qualify for the Final Showcase. Round 3: Grand Finale & Project Showcase Finalist teams will present their solutions offline to the panel of judges, mentors, startup founders, sponsors, and industry professionals. Presentations may include: Live Product Demonstration Solution Walkthrough Q&A Session Future Roadmap Discussion Business & Impact Potential Rules & Guidelines All projects, code, and assets must be original. Plagiarism or copied submissions will lead to immediate disqualification. Teams must adhere to all submission deadlines. GitHub repositories and project links must remain accessible throughout the evaluation process. Participants are expected to maintain professional and ethical conduct. Organizers reserve the right to modify timelines, rules, judging criteria, or event formats if necessary.
