Texas Venture Group × c0mpiled Hackathon
With YC Founders in Attendance
Texas Venture Group is partnering with c0mpiled (by Transpose Platform) to bring a fast-paced, build-first hackathon to the Forty Acres.
c0mpiled is coming to UT Austin with a focused hackathon centered around energy, urban systems, and AI. As rising demand, extreme weather, and electrification strain power grids, Texas sits at the center of what comes next. In just a few hours, builders will use cutting-edge tools from leading startups to prototype what the future of AI-powered cities could look like.
This is an execution-driven event designed for people who ship. Teams will work alongside experienced builders, with YC-backed founders on site to mentor, challenge ideas, and share firsthand insight into building real companies.
What to expect:
$5,000 in total prizes
Food provided throughout the event
Hands-on mentorship from YC founders and experienced operators
Real tools, real constraints, and direct technical feedback
A high-signal group of engineers, designers, and operators
Additional Sponsors:
Morph (YC S23) – free credits!
Judges:
Entangl (YC S24) - Shapol M. (CEO) Interface (Entrepreneurs First) - Mason Friedberg (Chief of Staff) Miru (YC S24) - Armel Talla (CEO) Waypoint Transit (YC W25) - Varun Tandon (CEO)
*Feel free to be solo or group up, for a total of 1-4 members per team! If you are part of a group, every group member must sign up separately through Luma. Please also list all group members as part of the application.
Whether you’re new to vibecoding or an experienced builder, this is a space to prototype quickly, learn from people who’ve built before, and build in public.
Spots are limited. Come ready to build!
