About the challenge

The Energy Club is a professional society dedicated to promoting energy education, innovation, and sustainability. Our mission is to advance discussion around pressing energy challenges, engage diverse sectors to impact the energy industry, and foster a passion for energy solutions among students.

EnergyHack@GT is a 36-hour, in-person hackathon designed to bring together passionate students to develop solutions to critical challenges in the energy industry. Participants will work in teams to brainstorm, design, and prototype projects such as AI and ML tools, web platforms, and mobile applications based on real-world problem statements.

Projects will be evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges. In addition to keynote talks and educational workshops, the event will conclude with the Top 3 teams receiving cash prizes.

Get started

If you are ready to innovate, collaborate, and tackle real-world energy challenges, apply before January 20, 2026 at https://luma.com/t9hzg8ub.

Teams should only join the Devpost once their team is finalized by 9:00 PM on January 23, 2026. Each team member must register individually.
