What began as a hackathon closes as an Awards Night, at Lumina House. A hackathon would typically end in a flurry of demos, pitches and closings all in the same setting. Celebrating the dedication to the fem-centric approach, we're applying the very same principles that you designed with, to our space itself. In Act 1, you all took to your circles that spoke to you most, and designed from what you know to be disruptive, and move towards the ideal. In Act 2 you are all invited, a burgundy room awaits where screenings take place. Seats lined in anticipation, familiar faces beside you, and a night that unfolds one act at a time This is a closed gathering, reserved for those who took part. Plus ones will be considered. Kindly confirm your place ahead of the 31st. Lumina House is a global residency for women working across technology, research, engineering and the creative industries. When women are absent from the design process, entire systems inherit blind spots. It exists as a response to that idea: creating spaces with rare talent density, with women who are actively building and developing the new infrastructures for the next wave of innovation.
