Superteam MY x TxODDS World Cup Hackathon Two billion people will watch the World Cup. Almost none of them will build on it. For a few weeks this July, you can. Superteam Malaysia is bringing the World Cup Hackathon to KL as our local edition of a global build sprint funded by TxODDS, the 27-year-old UK sports data firm whose feeds power sportsbooks like FanDuel and Betfair. For the length of the tournament, TxODDS is opening its live World Cup data for free through the TxLINE API and anchoring every result on Solana, so the scores, odds, and outcomes your product runs on are verifiable on-chain. You build across three tracks: Prediction markets & settlementTrading tools & agentsConsumer & fan experiences Think a live odds terminal, an agent that trades the matches, or a fan app that turns the knockout rounds into something your group chat cannot put down. The data is real, the matches are live, and the window is the tournament itself. Every build is submitted on Superteam Earn into a global prize pool of $50,000, and our Malaysian builders compete for an additional local pool of around $5,000. Submit once, enter both. Official TxODDS World Cup Hackathon Submission Page: https://superteam.fun/earn/hackathon/world-cup Your Superteam Earn submission will be required for global prize pool eligibility and will also be used as proof for Malaysia local prize eligibility. A separate Malaysia local prize verification link will be shared later. If you have wanted a reason to ship something on Solana that real people will actually use, the most watched event on earth is it. Submissions close on 19 July. The build window is now. Register, point your team at the tracks, and come build on the biggest stage on earth. Note on Eligibility This is the Superteam Malaysia local edition of the global World Cup Hackathon, powered by TxODDS and hosted on Superteam Earn. To qualify for the Malaysia local prize pool, submissions must follow the same rules and minimum requirements as the global hackathon. Projects must be in scope, use TxODDS / TxLINE World Cup data meaningfully, be submitted through Superteam Earn before the deadline, and choose one of the three official tracks. You are welcome to build other projects during the event, but projects that do not follow the global rules, are out of scope, or do not use TxLINE data will not be eligible to win local prizes.
