About this hackathon
The Network for Applied Technology (NAT) invites you to natHacks 2025, a 64-hour innovation sprint where students and early-career professionals tackle real-world challenges at the intersection of biology, health, and technology. This year, natHacks will be held from November 7-10, 2025, on the eighth floor of the Donadeo Innovation Centre for Engineering building. Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams, receive expert mentorship, and gain access to advanced hardware such as biosensors, motion detectors, and AI tools. Each year, over $30,000 in seed funding and in-kind resources are available to help winning teams carry their projects forward beyond the hackathon. This year, hackers can join one of two divisions: Standard Division: Form your own team and build original solutions within the themes of MedTech, EdTech, and EcoTech. Problem Provider Division: Be matched with a team and collaborate directly with clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals on real-world problems, with structured pre-hackathon development. Teams will build original solutions to problems in one of the three themes: MedTech, EdTech, and EcoTech.
