About the Event:   GameSmith is a unique Gamathon inviting Indian entrepreneurs, startups, industry experts, and students to unleash their creativity and craft innovative games across a variety of genres. From adventure-packed quests to educational platforms, this is your chance to design the next big thing in gaming while addressing themes relevant to MyGov.   Team Size: 2-4 members   Genres of Games:   Adventure Games   Real-Time Strategy (RTS)   Board Games   Puzzle Games   Role Playing Games (RPG)   Educational Games   Open Theme   Game Design Engines:   Contestants may use any free/open-source platforms like Scratch, GODOT, Unity, Cocos2d, or others to develop their games.   Evaluation Process:   The Gamathon will follow a structured three-stage selection process:   Round 1: Registration and Idea Submission   Teams must register and submit a presentation (4-10 slides) outlining their game idea.   Evaluation Criteria:   Overall idea   Number of players in the game   Uniqueness of the concept   Deadline: January 13, 2026 (Online) Round 2: Submission Round   Teams shortlisted from Round 1 must submit:   Overview of the game and design/development process with screenshots/images.   The game’s alignment with MyGov themes.   A 4-5 slide presentation detailing:   A 4-minute gameplay video showcasing interaction and gameplay.   Event Date: January 24, 2025 (Offline)   Round 3: Jury Round   Selected teams will:   Demonstrate their game to the Jury.   Submit an executable version of the game playable on a web browser.   Provide source code and libraries.   Participate in a Q&A session with Jury members.   Event Date: January 23, 2026 (Offline)   Evaluation Criteria:   Gameplay (10 Marks): Smoothness, balance, and meaningful player choices.   Originality (15 Marks): Innovation and uniqueness of the design.   Use of Theme (25 Marks): Relevance and clarity of MyGov themes.   Overall WOW Factor (30 Marks): Engagement, fun, and shareability.  Bring your creativity, strategy, and passion for gaming to CodeCraft and compete to create the ultimate gaming experience!
