Notion Hackathon — Calabar Edition 3 Days. Real Skills. Real Builds. Real Community. Get ready for Calabar's first-ever Notion Hackathon — a 3-day experience where learning meets building, and where you walk away not just knowing Notion, but actually using it like a pro. Whether you're brand new to Notion or you've dabbled in a few templates, this hackathon is built for you. Over three days, we'll combine hands-on teaching sessions with team-based challenges designed to push your skills, spark your creativity, and connect you with a community of like-minded builders right here in Calabar. Here's what to expect: 🎯 Day 1 — Foundations & First Builds Learn the core building blocks of Notion: pages, databases, properties, views, and relations. By the end of Day 1, you'll have built your first functional workspace from scratch. ⚡ Day 2 — Going Deeper Move beyond the basics into formulas, linked databases, dashboards, and templates that actually solve problems. We'll cover what separates a good Notion build from a great one. 🏆 Day 3 — The Group Challenge Teams take on a live build challenge: design, build, and present a working Notion system that solves a real-world problem. Prizes for the best builds, judged on creativity, functionality, and execution. What you'll leave with: A working Notion workspace you built yourselfA network of Notion-curious people in your cityTemplates, resources, and follow-up challenges to keep growingBragging rights (and maybe a prize 👀) Who this is for: Students, freelancers, founders, productivity nerds, career switchers, and anyone curious about how Notion can change the way they work, study, or build. No experience required. Just bring your laptop, your curiosity, and your willingness to build.
