The $20 Ticket is for all three days. The WSTI AI Summit is moving from conversation to construction. This is the build event where creators, engineers, and visionaries come together to form teams and ship practical AI solutions for the real world. After weeks of prep, the hackathon weekend is your time to get hands-on. Whether you’re a senior engineer, a master of No-Code, or a creative problem-solver, we’re providing the environment, the support team, and the challenges. Your mission: form a team, pick a problem—from the housing crisis, healthcare, or other community challenges —and build a working AI demonstrator that actually works. No more 'what ifs.' This is about 'what’s next.' A $20 (*plus platform fee) entry fee covers all three hackathon days and contributes to the team prize pool: $800 for 1st place, $400 for 2nd place, and $200 for 3rd place. Winners will be revealed at the Demo Night and Celebration on 30 April. The Build Schedule: • Friday, 10 April (6:00 pm–8:00 pm): Pitching, Team Formation, and Problem Selection. Find your crew and lock in your mission. • Saturday, 11 April – Sunday, 12 April (9:00 am–5:00 pm): Pure Execution. Design, build, and refine. We wrap with live demos and rapid-fire presentations of what you’ve built. BYO: Bring your own Tech, Tools and AI subscriptions. Please check out the WSTI Meetup group for other workshops that can help you prepare for the hackathon. If you’re a builder, coder, designer, or founder aged 18+ and want to create something that matters, join us. Bring your skills, your stack, and your curiosity—together we’ll build AI solutions that make a real difference in our communities. Are you ready to Build?
