Event Overview:
Claude Solvathon is a premier two-stage AI challenge designed to simulate real-world AI problem-solving under pressure. Hosted at Tantra Fiesta, the competition tests teamwork, creativity, and technical proficiency in open-ended problem-solving final challenge.
What We’re Looking For:
Teams who can think critically and apply AI creatively.
Innovative use of AI/ML/GenAI (Claude API optional) in solving real-world problem statements.
Event Structure:
Round 1:
Round 1- (Online Quiz): A concept-driven quiz designed to evaluate foundational knowledge in AI and Machine Learning, assess analytical problem-solving abilities, and gauge awareness of emerging technology trends and innovations.
Rules:
Only the team leader from each team will attempt the quiz.
Time-limited questions, auto-evaluated.
Top performers will qualify for the offline rounds.
Round Start Date: 2nd October and Time: 9:00 am
Round End Date: 3rd October and Time: 10:00 am
Selected Team Declaration: 4th October and Time: 12:00 pm
Round 2 – Open Innovation Challenge (Final Round – Offline)(18hrs)
Description: Teams are given a real-world problem statement. They must design and implement an AI-based solution. They are free to use ML, DL, GenAI, API keys, or hybrid methods. Constraints will be enforced during the offline hackathon.
Claude Api keys will be provided by the organizing team for building solution in the offline round .
Evaluation Criteria:
Problem Understanding & Innovation (30 pts)
Technical Implementation & Feasibility (30 pts)
Solution Impact & Creativity (20 pts)
Presentation & Demo Quality (20 pts)
Timeline:
Final Round Start Date & Time: 10th October, 4:00 pm.
Final Round End Date & Time: 11th October, 10:00 am.
Evaluation Rules and Guidelines:
Winners are determined by the highest score in the offline round (100 pts ).
Disqualification: plagiarism, incomplete/non-functional solutions, or rule violations.
Eligibility Criteria:
Open to students from all disciplines and colleges in India.
Teams of 3–4 members.
Cross-college and cross-specialization teams are allowed.
One student can only join one team.
Presentation / Hackathon Requirements (Final Round):
Submission Criteria:
GitHub Repository: Teams must upload code, documentation, and datasets.
PPT Presentation: Overview of the problem statement, approach, key features, and on spot working demonstration.
General Rules & Guidelines:
The organizing team reserves the right to enforce rules and decisions.
Any misconduct or plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
Judges’ decisions are final.

Seminar Hall, 4th Floor, Academic Block-A, Indian Institute of Information Technology Nagpur.
